I am so thrilled to share this with you today! I never expected to redesign the cover of Voice of the Ashes before launching it—that’s something to do after a book has been out in the world for several years. Next week I’ll be sharing why we made the decision to postpone release day and change the cover.

Honestly, I like this new cover a lot more. It’s beautiful!

I think this is better than your previous choice. The last cover seemed to depict a sense of sadness, pain, and possibly confusion – not hope. Although those seem to be part of the story of Laurence’s quest for the truth, ultimately, that is not the end of the journey for the Christian. The picture above, suggests to me a sense of having the goal in view – a hope – in spite of the pain, sadness, and confusion.
All that said, I haven’t read the book yet. So, I won’t be sure until then. I’m looking forward to reading it.
