Greetings! I’m T.R.Q.T.
When I was thirteen, I started down the trail of historical fiction, and by God’s grace I haven’t turned back. That literary trail wound through the streets, farms, and prison cells of Tudor England, where my debut novel, Voice of the Ashes, takes place. I have travelled it through the training and trenches of WWI, the forests and fortresses of medieval lands, and the countryside of Canada at the turn of the 20th century. Along the way, I’ve made several short detours to visit the homeless and hopeless of our modern era.
I write stories that have God’s truth and salvation shining through their pages, stories that speak of sin and suffering but resolve in redemption, stories that point to Him Who breathed life into our dust and gave the greatest gift—the life of His Son—to buy us back to Himself.
