Guest Post

I’m excited to be able to share this beautiful poem by my friend Tat as my first guest post! It is such a wonderful reminder to surrender ourselves fully to God’s will.

Dropping to the ground

I’ve gotta get my head around

This thing that You’ve told me I have

To do.

Reining in these forceful passions,

Killing all my selfish actions,

Giving up all that I think I have

To You.

So God, please break this barrier down,

Make me effective all around,

Even if it turns me bloody black

And blue.

What’s in store? I just don’t know–

It’s not an easy way to go.

But I will trust that what You say is

Really true.
